Celebrate Earth Day all month with our virtual event series!
Our Earth Day event series will help students see that We Are All Connected!
We want kids to understand how their actions and environmental choices have an impact on the world around them – near and far.
We also want to help kids feel connected to the world outside their classrooms. Whether kids are learning from home or at school, this past year has been an isolating experience, and their “worlds” have begun to feel quite small.
To achieve those goals, we’ve lined up a very exciting series of virtual field trips and virtual author visits – all designed to demonstrate for your learners that We Are All Connected.
Registration is now open!
Learn about endangered animals with Academy Award nominee Terri Tatchell, fight deforestation with Evelyn Bookless, an author from the Netherlands, and explore the interconnectedness of nature and humanity with Coast Salish author Courtney Defriend.
Your learners will also enjoy taking a trip to the Arctic with Ocean Wise at the Vancouver Aquarium, catching a view of Earth from space with the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, and meeting the animals in the African Rainforest Pavilion at the Toronto Zoo.
We look forward to seeing you at our Earth Day events!
